Ide Memorial Hall is our Village Hall. It is believed to have been built in the 1920s and was the property of the Church Commissioners. In 1950 the Village formed a registered charity to run and manage the Hall. The trustees of the charity bought the hall from the Church Commissioners for the sum of £133.
Starting in 2018 the Hall was completely refurbished at a cost of approximately £80,000. Grant funding was obtained from Garfield Weston Foundation, Bernard Sunley Charitable Foundation, Viridor, Grantscape, Devon County Council, Teignbridge District Council and the village community.

The main hall now has a beautiful new wooden floor and acoustic ceiling panels.
New toilets were constructed and a smart new kitchen. Free Wi-Fi is available.

The Hall is managed by the trustees formed from representatives of organisations that use the hall. The charity registration number with the Charity Commission is 300867.
