Temporary soil landfill and recycling centre at Lower Brenton – Webinar

There will be a Zoom Webinar held on December 6th and 6.30pm regarding the new application for the temporary soil landfill and recycling centre at Lower Brenton

The webinar is an opportunity to find out more about BT Jenkins’ plans for a temporary soil landfill and recycling centre at Lower Brenton and also to ask any questions you may have.

They submitted similar plans in late 2021. They have responded to concerns by changing their plans and want to know what you think.

The proposal is for a temporary inert soil landfill and recycling centre. The recycling centre will recycle brick, stone, concrete and bitmac, so it can be reused in future local developments. Only soil which hasn’t been contaminated by harmful substances (known as inert soils) will be deposited on the land.
